RV Park Safety & Security
Our goal at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve is to provide a safe, secure, and friendly environment that allows families, seniors, temporary workforce personnel, housing personnel, and every type of RV traveler to feel at home on the road. We cater exclusively to RVers and their guests and do not provide tent sites for campers.
Please take a few minutes to carefully review our park rules. All guests are required to sign an agreement of compliance at check in. While we strive to be fair and understanding in unique circumstances, we do not hesitate to enforce our rules for the safety and consideration of our guests.
We ask that you and your guests respect both the facilities and the neighbors. Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
Check-in time is 1:00 PM; check-out time is 12:00 PM. If you are in need of special arrangements, please speak with CM as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Should you choose to vacate without notification and do not return for 24 hours, you will lose your site. Unless specially granted by the Campground Manager, there are NO REFUNDS for leaving a reservation early.
Please inform the CM of any expected large number of guests, as additional charges may apply. All guests must abide by the regular parking rules, and at no time is anyone permitted to park in another site nor block another site (empty or not). Your guests are your responsibility and their actions will directly impact your stay.
The speed limit on the property is 10mph. If you do not comply with this limit, you will be asked to leave, regardless of the length of time you intended to stay.
We do not provide fire rings. If you have one, it must be approved by the CM before use. Please note that we have a limited number of picnic tables and that they are provided to guests on a first come, first served basis. As such, we cannot guarantee picnic tables to every guest. To check availability, contact the CM and we will do our best to accommodate you. FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE PARK AT ANY TIME. SHOULD YOU BE FOUND TO BE IN POSSESSION OF THEM, YOU WILL BE EVICTED OR ASKED TO VACATE THE PREMISES IMMEDIATELY AND YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please do not disturb your neighbors during these hours. If we receive multiple complaints, you will be asked to leave the property.
Also, to help keep campground costs under control (for example, rent prices), please keep all toilet paper and soap waste to a minimum. Smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages is never permitted in the laundry/bathroom facility, and vandalism or misuse of any kind will not be tolerated. Be advised that there are security cameras throughout the campground.
Alcohol is permitted on the campground, but please use discretion and do not have open visible containers outside your RV. Alcohol is not permitted in the laundry/bathrooms.
Pets are allowed to be with you or at your site, but must be on a leash at all times. Dogs are not to be left outside on a leash, in a kennel, or in a fence when you are not on the property. If your dog gets loose while you are absent, animal control will be called. Do not allow your pets to disrupt your neighbors. Clean up your pet’s waste on your site or any neighboring site. There are many stray cats around the property; please do not encourage them to stay by feeding them. Should you leave the property, take appropriate measures to ensure that your dogs do not bark all day, thus disturbing your neighbors and other guests.
We offer Wifi in the common building for our guests. The WiFi password can be obtained from the CM. Our WiFi is not intended for downloading movies and music, so please keep your use to core activities like website browsing and email. When connected to our WiFi network, no illegal activities are permitted or tolerated on the Internet.
Licensed firearms are permitted on the campground. Guests are prohibited from discharging any weapon on the property.
Due to the unpredictability of the weather, should you leave your site, be sure to put up any outdoor awnings. Damage to awnings or RVs due to weather is the sole responsibility of the owner. Guests are not permitted, at any time, to put a pole with permanent satellite dish in the ground. All such devices must be 100% portable. If you use PVC pipes in place of traditional sewer hoses, you must dispose of them before you leave.
Illegal activities of any sort are not permitted or tolerated at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve, which is governed by both the Douglas County Police Department and the City of Austell Police Department. If law enforcement must be called to your site due to illegal activities, domestic disturbances, or acts of violence, you will be evicted from the property.
Trash pick-up days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If you notice that the dumpster is full, do not leave your trash on the ground next to the dumpster, nor outside your site at any time. Should we see you do so on our video monitoring system, you will be asked to vacate the property. Guests are not permitted, at any time, to have a mattress outside of their camper, or to dispose of a mattress in our dumpster. Cigarette butts are litter, and are expected to be disposed of properly. For the comfort of all guests, do not toss your ashes at your site or anywhere else in the park.
Our sites accommodate one or two vehicles, depending on location, and those vehicles are expected to be of a size that fits properly in the site. When parking, guests are not permitted to block the site number on the ground in front of: a) your site; b) in any empty site; c) in any neighboring site; d) in the overnight parking spaces across from the facility building. If you require extra parking for your guests, please notify the CM for assistance. Any additional parking must be pre-approved by the CM.
Once a week, there will be site inspections for maintenance and code checks. If you receive a notice of defect (ex. you need to replace your sewer hose or your water hose is leaking), please attend to any matter stated in your received notice as soon as possible. You are permitted to use PVC pipes in place of traditional sewer hoses, but must remove them when you leave.
Guests will be charged for any damage caused by said guests to the park or facilities.
We regularly perform grounds maintenance and landscaping. It is guests responsibility to ensure that sewer hoses, rugs, and belongings are off the ground when workers are present. They will be as careful as possible, but neither the lawn maintenance crew, nor Sweetwater Creek, are liable for damage to guests’ items left on the ground.
We understand that it is not always possible to give advance notice of your departure. However, as soon as you become aware you will be leaving, please be courteous and let the CM know. If you plan to leave your site with your camper for any length of time and expect to return, you must inform the CM and your rent must be current, or your site will not be held.
If you know that you are going to be late on paying your rent, please make prior arrangements with the CM for a payment extension. Otherwise, if rent is not paid by the due date, you will be asked to vacate your site within 24 hours.
Please take into consideration that the CM is also your neighbor, and common courtesy is greatly appreciated. If you have an emergency that cannot wait for regular business hours of 9 AM to 6 PM, please call or text and manager will get back to you at their earliest convenience.
By checking in for your reservation, you are acknowledging that you have read, fully understand, accept and agree to comply with the rules and regulations stated herein, in addition to any future notices and or policy changes. A printed copy of the rules will be presented upon request.
Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve is a privately owned and operated facility. We reserve the right to evict without notice and without refund anyone who does not comply with these rules and regulations. Guests agree that they are solely responsible for any/all property loss from theft. You also agree to release Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve from liability for any/all damages incurred from accidents, injuries, or natural disasters (Acts of God).
