At Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve, our goal is to provide a secure and friendly environment that allows families, seniors, temporary work force housing personnel and every type of RV traveler to feel right at home while on the road. We cater exclusively to RV customers and do not provide sites for camping or tenting.

To make your stay more enjoyable, please take a few minutes to familiarize your party with our rules and regulations. While we try to be fair with our rules, we do not hesitate to enforce them for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests.



We ask that you and your party respect both our facilities and fellow campers. As the Golden Rule suggests, treat others the way you would like to be treated.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in/check-out time is 1:00 pm and 3:00pm respectively. If you need to arrive a bit earlier or leave a bit later, please let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to accommodate you without incurring additional fees.


Rates are for two adults and four children OR four adults. Additional guests who are not just visiting for the day and will be spending the night are subject to additional charges.


Visitors should check into the office upon arrival or the primary guest should alert the host or management officer. Additional charges may apply for a large number of guests.  We appreciate your forthrightness and honesty.

Speed Limit

The speed limit throughout the campground is 10 mph and speed humps have been installed for the safety of all. Please respect this limit and drive carefully.

Sites-Fires & Picnic Tables

If you intend to have a campfire at your site and/or if you require a picnic table, please let us know at check-in as not all sites have fire ring areas and tables. Pending availability, we will be happy to accommodate you.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 10:30 pm to 8:00 am. The common building housing showers and laundry equipment is accessible 24 hours, however after specific times relative to the season, guests will need a special code to gain access. Please be considerate of your fellow campers during quiet hours when using the common building.


Alcohol is permitted only at your site and all gatherings must be kept under control. Guests disregarding this policy may be asked to leave without refund. Also, there are no open containers allowed outside of your RV, so please exercise discretion and use cups at all times.


Pets are allowed at your site provided they are leashed, quiet and under control. Pets must never be left unattended. Local laws require that you clean up after your pet for the safety and welfare of others. Plastic bags are available at the common building if you do not have any.


Feel free to use our Wifi service in and around the common building as not every site has WiFi access. Please obtain the password when you check in. We ask that you do not use this connection for immoral, illegal or other such uses. We also ask that you do not use excessive bandwidth, e.g. downloading of movies, music, etc.


Fireworks and firearms are not permitted at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve.


If you and your guest leave the premises, we encourage you to put up your awnings due to the possibility of sudden storms.

Illegal Activities

Illegal activities are not permitted at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve, which is governed by both the Douglas County Police Department and the City of Austell Police Department.


Fishing is permitted in Sweetwater Creek and Sweetwater Creek State Park with a valid Georgia fishing license.


We do not offer trash pick-up at your site and ask that you dispose of trash in our containers throughout the park and around the maintenance building. Please do not leave trash at your site or in any fire rings.

Foul Language

We are a traditional, family-friendly campground and do not permit foul language as determined by management within earshot of others.

Public Displays of Affection

We are a traditional family campground and do not permit inappropriate public displays of affection outside of your RV.  Please use discretion and respect other guests in regard to PDA.

Acknowledgement of all Rules & Regulations

Upon checking in, you will be asked to sign a statement that denotes your agreement to all rules, regulations and local laws. You will also receive a copy of our rules and regulations for your reference.


Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to evict without notice anyone who does not obey our guidelines without refund. We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of property of any kind.
